Embroidery design is a process of decorating garments using a needle and thread. Embroidery machines differ then regular sewing as the embroidery needle tips are much more sharp and have larger eyes than a sewing needle. The sharp tips help the needle penetrate into tightly woven fabrics. The garment is stretched out using a tool to help achieve a much sharper appearance that in the end, reduces the risk of any future damage.

Below are some examples of how embroidery design can be used:

  1. Hoodies
  2. Pants/Shorts
  3. Baseball Caps/Toques
  4. Patches
  5. Polo Shirts
  6. Workwear (Safety Vests, Jackets)
  7. Sport Jerseys (hockey, baseball, basketball, soccer, etc)
  8. Backpacks
  9. Jackets
  10. Aprons
  11. Towels
  12. Tracksuits
  13. Bags (Hockey/Soccer/Baseball Bags, Duffel Bags, Various Equipment Bags)

With our garments, we're able to offer an appliqué design to enhance the garment. Appliqué is a sewing technique in which fabric patches are layered on a foundation fabric, then stitched in place by hand or machine with the raw edges turned under or covered with decorative stitching. From the French appliquer, “to put on,” appliqué is sometimes used to embellish clothing or household linens.

Two appliqués we offer are twill and flock.

Twill is demonstrated on the "BURKES" hoodie, and flock is demonstrated on the "#1 HOCKEY MOM" hoodie.
